Available puppies

Our current and upcoming litters. A listing marked "available" really is available today — we update these the moment a status changes.

Photos coming soon. Our litters are photographed around week three, once their eyes are open and their colours have settled. The thumbnails below will be replaced right after the photo session.

Every other detail — colour, coat, sex, date of birth, price — is accurate.

Reserving

How to reserve a puppy.

We don't work on a first-come, first-served basis. After we've talked — by email, phone or during a visit — we add your name to the litter that suits you.

Matching happens around week eight, once we've observed each puppy's temperament. Going home, on the other hand, never happens before 12 weeks: the time it takes for their weight and blood sugar to stabilize.

A $500 deposit confirms your place and applies to the total price. It's refundable if the litter doesn't produce the right puppy for you.

Frequently asked

What people ask us most.

Not really, and that's deliberate. Matching takes weeks of observed temperament into account, not just coat colour. We introduce you to the puppy (or two) that best fits your lifestyle, and you decide from there.

No. "Teacup" isn't a variety recognized by any breed standard — it's a marketing term for dogs bred below the breed's healthy weight range (roughly 1.5 kg). Our adult chihuahuas typically weigh between 1.5 and 3 kg. Below that, health risks climb noticeably, and that's not a risk we're willing to take.

No. Every family picks up their puppy from us, in the Plateau. It lets us walk you through handling one last time, hand over the complete file, and make sure the send-off goes smoothly. We never ship a puppy by courier or as cargo on a flight.

First round of vaccinations, complete deworming, a microchip registered in your name, a full veterinary exam in the days before departure, a health record, a bag of transition food, and a blanket carrying the litter's scent.

Yes. A written two-year guarantee against serious hereditary conditions, provided when the contract is signed, with replacement or refund, your choice. You also receive both parents' screening results — patella, heart and eyes.

Chihuahuas are especially prone to hypoglycemia in their first months — particularly puppies who, at 8 weeks, still weigh under a kilogram. Keeping every puppy until 12 weeks gives them time to stabilize their weight and blood sugar, complete part of their vaccination schedule, and handle the stress of the move in better shape. It's a longer wait, but it's safer for such a small dog.

They come back to us, at any age, without judgment. It's written into the contract in black and white. A chihuahua born at Tiny Stars never ends up in a shelter or a classified ad.

Nothing here suits you right now?

Join the waiting list. We notify registered families as soon as a breeding is confirmed — often three months before the puppies are born.
